With the last trip in Dorset being Wimborne, the Robins travelled down to Bournemouth to the Step 5 side; A unique test for Danny Greaves’ squad on the South Coast.
Skipper Sam Teale returns to the squad for his first time this pre-season. The defender played alongside Baker and Maidment. Captain Teale went on to play the full 90 minutes.

A quick start once again for the dodge. A cross from Hopkins gave Duru a heading opportunity, which cannoned off the crossbar.
Another pitcher perfect ball from the local lad, an over-the-top ball to Holliday, who scuffed his effort and was saved by the Poppies goalkeeper.
Just three minutes later, the first goal of the game came from a set piece from Callum Gould. The former Shepton Mallet midfielder took aim from 25 yards out. The effort rippled into the top left corner, giving the goalkeeper no chance.
It took just another five minutes for the second-this time Hopkins with the goal. A simple finish from the forward, a driven strike trickled into the side netting.
Neat work in the midfield from Feltham and Llewellyn in the first 45. Harris (Feltham) was able to shoot just outside the box, but was parried away for a corner.
The final chance of the half came right before the half-time whistle. Hopkins was put through on goal once again, who calmly passed the keeper and slotted home his second of the afternoon.
The second half was underway, with a change in colours for the home side, hoping that that would make a change in the result.
It didn’t take long for Frome to get their fourth. Charlie Holliday got involved in the goalscoring action. A darting run on the right flank gave him an opportunity to take aim. The winger rattled the post and flicked it into the back of the net.
A first chance came up for the hosts in the 65th minute when defender, Harry Lucas, took down his man, giving the referee no choice but to point to the penalty spot. The No.9 for the Poppies converted the penalty, Roberts picking the wrong side.
There was a phase of the game where Bournemouth were in control. Another chance straight from kick-off. The winger for the home side was played through whose effort is just not powerful enough to trouble Roberts in-between the sticks.
Another chance went begging for the hosts. The No.6 volleys a cross in from a corner, which hits the wrong side of the goal.
The last effort of the game was from the attacker, Zak Drew, who was given a through ball on the right flank, whose shot narrowly missed the right post.
With the final whistle blown, with Frome’s third victory where three or more goals were scored, an improvement on last year’s lack of goals.
