Danny Greaves was on hand following the FA Draw to talk about the weekend, and the upcoming matches.

Danny Greaves: "I still have the feeling of immense pride in everyone associated with Frome Town Football Club following Saturday’s well deserved win against a very good Oxford City side who are sitting 4th in the National League South. It was great day on and off the pitch, superb support, a great atmosphere in the ground, and a group of players who gave everything they had for the club and each other."
"We now know our reward is an away tie against another much fancied National League South side in Bath City. We know they are a massive Football Club in the South West region, with a top manager, and a very talented playing squad. The day will be an exciting one for all concerned, as it’s a local derby, it’s the FA Cup, and it will be a great occasion for the club to enjoy."

"It’s one we will very much look forward to, but all of our focus will now be on two extremely tough and important league games starting with this Saturday at home to Lymington, followed by a tough midweek away trip down to Bideford next Tuesday."

If you missed any of the Southern League activity, here's the results from the weekend...

Capella Assessments: Assessing Skill, Not Merely Fulfillment
Capella University has pioneered a shift in how academic progress is measured by emphasizing assessments that reflect practical, job-related skills rather than relying solely on traditional exams or participation-based grading. In doing so, it has created a model that not only serves students Capella Assessment better but also aligns more directly with the demands of modern careers. The cornerstone of this educational experience is the Capella Assessment — a project-based, competency-driven method of evaluation that asks students to demonstrate what they know through real-world application. This article explores how Capella Assessments function, what sets them apart, and how they prepare students for long-term success beyond the virtual classroom.

Here’s what I found out about ABCD Index Journals / ABCD Index, what it is, how it works, and what to watch out for. If you want, I can also pull up a list of some “good/legitimate” ABCD journals in your field.
What is ABCD Index (Academic Business Current Data)
ABCD Index is a platform (“Academic Business Current Data”) that gives information about journals: publisher, open/paid access, indexing status, journal score, etc.
It allows journals to register in its database; then researchers/authors can search and filter journals by various criteria (country, subject area, whether they charge a fee, open/paid, etc.).
It has a program called RAMP (“Research Article Medium of Publication”) which helps authors find journals to publish in, including ABCD-verified ones.

Here are several international journals / open-access options that offer relatively low publication fees (APCs) or nominal charges. Also some guidance on what to check before submitting, to avoid predatory journals. If you tell me your field (e.g. engineering, social sciences, biology etc.), I can suggest ones more specific to you.
