Steve Jupp, BA11's Club Historian, looks forward to 25-26's first outing at Badgers Hill.
It may only be a pre-season friendly but Saturday’s home encounter against National League South Chippenham Town will be a poignant occasion for Frome fans, many of whom, during a summer of off-field turmoil, feared they would never see their beloved team play at Badgers Hill again.

The Robins will be looking to bounce back from narrow defeat in Wednesday's combative tussle at Mangotsfield but will find it far from easy against a Wiltshire outfit, who finished 14th last term, now embarking upon their ninth straight campaign at Step Two.
When the Bluebirds last visited the Hill on Easter Monday 2017, they had just clinched the Southern League Premier Division title and left with the points thanks to a solitary strike from Jake Andrews with the brilliance of Darren Chitty and the crossbar denying the home side a share of the spoils.
A former Robin of a more recent vintage, last season's Young Player of the Year Ethan Vaughan, is likely to feature for Chippenham along with an even younger Jac Poffley who impressed in a loan spell here last winter.
For both sides, the big kick-off on 9th August is just a fortnight away with Frome at home to Tavistock while Hardenhuish Park plays host to Dorking Wanderers in front of the TV cameras which may be the more glamorous fixture but the Badgers Hill faithful will just be glad to watch their side against anyone.
It's good to be back!
Squad Update
Midfielders Callum Gould and George Dowling will be unavailable for the tie, but Warren Maidment returns after missing Wednesday night's game as does Kyle Phillips. Defender Mike Baker will undertake a fitness test after missing out in midweek with a calf strain. Frome fans may get their first glimpse of returning striker Sam Meakes.
Manager Danny Greaves said ahead of the fixture: "The squad is looking forward to getting back playing at home, and hope to see as many fans come out as possible to see this new-look side.
"We really appreciate Gary Horgan and Matt Coupe bringing an excellent Chippenham side over. The Bluebirds are an excellent side and will do well in their division next year. Saturday will provide us with a huge challenge, and one we want going into the later stages of pre-season
"I'm looking forward to welcoming Ethan Vaughan back to Badgers Hill. He had an excellent spell with us and I'm excited to see him kick on in his career. The same goes for young Jac Poffley who did a great job for us during a short loan spell."
Talking on the latest episode of the Dodge the Question podcast, new striker David Duru said of his performances: "Obviously, as a striker, you go into a club like Frome, you feel like you want to make an impact. You want to show the fans what you're about and put in good performances.
"I feel like for the best part of pre-season, I've done that. There's still more to come I think, but it's been looking good so far."
The latest information on ticketing, which can be bought in advance or on the gate, is as follows:
