Steve Jupp, BA11's Club Historian, provides his thoughts ahead of an all-Somerset clash.
Frome Town fans will be looking for an immediate bounce back from their side following Saturday’s frustrating home loss to Sholing but their task at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium is a daunting one against an in-form Taunton Town with county bragging rights up for grabs.
No other team in the division has taken more points from their last ten fixtures than the Peacocks who left it late to secure a 2-0 triumph at Bracknell at the weekend as they continue their remarkable bid to challenge for a play-off spot.

Remarkable because as recently as mid-December, they found themselves just a couple of points above the drop zone following a fruitless five-match run which yielded just a single draw.
Danny Greaves’ squad, despite their lowly position, are seasoned travellers these days with just the ONE defeat in their last SIX away encounters and making a welcome return to the group will be midfield dynamo Alex Monks, his two-match suspension now served.
When the sides met at Badgers Hill back in August, goals from David Duru and Owen Brain gave Taunton their first victory of the campaign and, if the Scarlet Runners are to turn the tables, they need to win in the county capital for the first time since 2010.
Almost fifteen years ago to the day, strikes from Luke Ballinger, Mark Salter and Matt Minnis contributed to a 3-0 success in front of a Wordsworth Drive crowd, unthinkable today, of just 126.
Recent Robins trips to Taunton:
Season Competition Result
2009-10 SL Div 1 S&W W 3 – 0
2010-11 SL Div 1 S&W L 0 – 1
2012-13 Somerset Premier Cup L 2 – 5
2018-19 SL Prem South L 0 – 3
This fixture was originally scheduled for New Year’s Day, but wet weather had the final say and if the Robins could come home with as much as a point, it would lift them a morale-boosting place up the table and into the top twenty for the first time since October.
