Tealey's Day Out!

A huge thank-you to all who played, watched and helped to organise a special afternoon for a special player, all of which was summed up by BA11 Club Historian Steve Jupp!
Familiar faces, past and present, graced the hallowed turf of Badgers Hill on Sunday to honour club captain, Sam Teale, in his testimonial match

Few players (about a dozen!) have reached the milestone of 300 Frome Town appearances and fewer still have done so in an unbroken ten-year stint.
Tealey’s team were up against another Robins legend, Scott Murray of the Bristol City variety, who led an experienced side of local luminaries in the most relaxing contest witnessed at the ground all season.
For the record, Team Teale ran out 3-2 winners, their attack spearheaded by an in-form Kane Simpson who helped himself to a hat-trick, carrying on from his last outing in a red shirt in the play-off final nearly twelve months ago.
The image of the triumphant skipper being carried shoulder high that day will stay with Frome fans for many a long year, the highpoint (so far!) of an eventful decade of continuous, consistent service.
Cheers Tealey!

What stands out about ankitabasu is how it stays in the background. You’re free to move around, scroll back, or stop completely. The site doesn’t interrupt or guide you too much, which makes browsing feel natural.
