The countdown is finally over and season 2025-26, one which many Frome followers feared, over a summer of stress and angst, their club might not take part in, is upon us with Tavistock providing the opposition for an eagerly anticipated Badgers Hill opener.

With SIX Southern League points safely banked in the opening week of the new season, attention now turns to the magic of the FA Cup and that once-a-year dream of maybe, just maybe, sharing the same pitch with a League One luminary… a Luton, a Lincoln or perhaps even a rematch with Leyton Orient.
